The Chicago Reunion
In 1986 my Uncle Wili Tolentino decided to revive the old tradition of the Tolentino family reunion, this time in the United States. There were a lot of family members that attended, even my Lolo Vicente from the Philippines attended. We did a lot of sightseeing, visiting the Sears Tower, the Bahai Temple, and several other places.

The male members of the family take a picture on the front lawn of Auntie Cely's house in Chicago. |
That's the Corpuz family back in 1986. I was almost nine years old at this time, and my brother was almost three. |
Uncle Remiel, Auntie Gene, Charles, Barbra, Auntie Fina, Uncle Vic, Grandpa Vicente, mom, myself, Jordan, Dad, and Uncle Benjo. |
Here I am doing some karate during one of our talent show numbers. To the left is my dad and to the right is Jordan. |
There were so many of us that we had to charter a bus to take us around Chicago. |
This is the clan at the Bahai Temple of Worship. I'm on the right holding my grandfather's hand. |
Charles, Uncle Remiel, Auntie Gene, Jordan, myself, and dad stop in the city to take this shot. |
