The Chicago Reunion

In 1986 my Uncle Wili Tolentino decided to revive the old tradition of the Tolentino family reunion, this time in the United States. There were a lot of family members that attended, even my Lolo Vicente from the Philippines attended. We did a lot of sightseeing, visiting the Sears Tower, the Bahai Temple, and several other places.

The family of Vicente and Felicita Tolentino pose for a picture. I'm the one in the blue.

The male members of the family take a picture on the front lawn of Auntie Cely's house in Chicago.

That's the Corpuz family back in 1986. I was almost nine years old at this time, and my brother was almost three.

Uncle Remiel, Auntie Gene, Charles, Barbra, Auntie Fina, Uncle Vic, Grandpa Vicente, mom, myself, Jordan, Dad, and Uncle Benjo.

Here I am doing some karate during one of our talent show numbers. To the left is my dad and to the right is Jordan.

There were so many of us that we had to charter a bus to take us around Chicago.

This is the clan at the Bahai Temple of Worship. I'm on the right holding my grandfather's hand.

Charles, Uncle Remiel, Auntie Gene, Jordan, myself, and dad stop in the city to take this shot.
